American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Appleton, WI. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements. Incentives include: * Safety and quality incentives * Excellent benefit package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Company paid Life Insurance, Short-term & Long-term Disability, 401(k) with Company Match, Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off. * Company cell phone * Employer paid CDL license renewal fees including endorsements and medical card Duties: This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and cynogenic liquids and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately. * Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently * Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels * Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) * Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations * Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets * Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled * Maintain electronic trip-logs * Maintains cleanliness of vehicle * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: * High School graduate or equivalent * Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement * Clean driving record * Able to read and write English * Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.) * Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test * Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment. * American Welding & Gas (AWG) is a manufacturer and distributor of industrial gases as well as a provider of all your welding supply needs.
