Description Class B CDL Driver Full or Part Time Available Day Shift - No Nights Workdays: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Northern Nurseries, a division of The Robert Baker Companies, is a leading network of horticultural wholesale distribution centers dedicated to providing high-quality plants and hard goods to our customers. We are currently seeking a reliable and professional full-time Class B CDL Driver to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while being HOME EVERY NIGHT, with a schedule that may require early mornings and late afternoons. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle to deliver plants and hard goods to local customers - Assist with loading and unloading trucks to ensure timely and accurate deliveries - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance - Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the dispatch team - Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies - Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups Northern Nurseries offers a supportive work environment focused on growth and teamwork. Requirements Experience: Driving: 2 years (Required) Commercial driving: 2 years (Required) Skills and Qualifications: Valid and clean Class B CDL license with current medical card Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions Flexibility to start early and work late as needed Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and background check At least 21 years of age
