Description

MPS/UPS (London Fringe) + Teacher Pension Scheme + 24/7 access to a free virtual GP Service + collaborative MAT network + additional LAT benefits.
Come and be part of Leigh Academy Dartford’s outstanding Key Stage 1 team! Our inquiry-driven approach to learning ensures that our pupils achieve exceptionally well. Pupils’ behaviour is impeccable as a result of our character-driven approach to developing their self-belief and resilience. We are proud of our entire community and we are sure you will be too!
We have a fantastic opportunity to appoint a Class Teacher to join and strengthen our existing team from January 2026 (or earlier).
We have phenomenal children; a teamwork ethos; and an exceptional CPD programme. We believe in helping you to be the best you can be so that our children get the very best. Our ambitious and exciting curriculum was celebrated in our most recent Ofsted inspection (June 2025) where we were recognised as outstanding in all areas.
At Leigh Academy Dartford, we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and we teach all our children to be, ‘Determined, Persistent Achievers (who are) Learning to Change the World’. This underpins the values for all that we do in every aspect of academy life. We value the diversity of our academy community and celebrate each step of progress our children make. This role will give you the opportunity to work with our fantastic team where your personal development will be nurtured to ensure our children receive the very best education.
Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome as are applications from more experienced teachers; we can offer a fantastic range of professional development opportunities within the academy and across the wider Trust.
