St Mary’s is a friendly and nurturing one-form entry primary school that sits in the heart of the beautiful village of Chiddingfold, Surrey.

We are seeking an inspiring and talented Class Teacher to join our supportive team on a one-year contract starting in September 2025. Ofsted continued to rate us as ‘Good’ in October 2024, and we received a highly positive report from SIAMS in January 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional primary teacher to join our vibrant and welcoming school community.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience of teaching across the primary age range
• Ability to differentiate and adapt teaching to ensure an inclusive classroom
• Proficient in using positive behaviour management strategies, with a focus on relational practice
• Commitment to curriculum development and improving teaching and learning

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, teach, mark and accurately assess, knowing pupils’ next steps and how to move learning forward
• Lead a subject - specialism in maths or computing would be desire
• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
• Support pupils with SEND in a mainstream classroom
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community
• Attend school events and contribute to the wider life of the school by running an extra-curricular activity
• Engage in continuous professional development
