* Tollgate Primary School * Address: Tollgate Lane, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk IP32 6DG * Salary: MPR £32,916 - £42,057 pro rata (£19,749 - £25,234 per annum) * Hours: Part time, 0.6FTE, Wednesday to Friday * Contract: Maternity cover, fixed term for one year, required from September 2026 * Reference: 8899   Tollgate Primary School are seeking a Class Teacher (Year 1) to join our strong staff team on a fixed term contract of one year (maternity cover). We are a two- form entry school, therefore you will be working as part of the year group team. You will be able to plan engaging lessons following our chosen curriculum and agreed lesson structure. You will build strong relationships with your class and Tollgate Primary School is committed to working with our families and the local community to develop the children’s academic and social skills.  We offer a warm and welcoming environment with a dedicated staff team who are supportive of one another. There is a clear vision for school development to improve outcomes for all pupils. Tollgate Primary School was graded ‘good’ by Ofsted in October 2023 with inspectors noting that the children are happy, safe and well cared for.
