We are currently looking to hire a Freelancer for our Classical Guitar business unit. This role is responsible for educating targeted segments of the classical guitar market about D’Addario products through direct contact with players, schools/teachers, luthiers, and organizations. This is a part-time, freelance position which requires some domestic travel and would be paid on a "per event" basis. Responsibilities Plan and conduct clinics/workshops targeted at classical guitarists. Events will be approved by D’Addario in advance and may be held at universities, competitions, classical guitar societies, or similar venues. Oversee all needed communication, planning, and execution of the events. Deliver presentations and conduct targeted sampling via Q&A with prospective players, aligning D’Addario products with specific player needs. Complete require reports for all events. Complete all data entry, as required. Become trained and certified in D’Addario classical guitar products as directed by the Product Manager and Classical Guitar Global Product Specialist. Cultivate relationships with influential classical players and assist in identifying artists with endorsee potential. Provide insights, intel and ideas for additional or future outreach opportunities. Assist in execution of trade shows/competition, as needed. Complete all necessary paperwork for travel planning and expense reimbursement. Assist with any specific tasks or projects as directed by Product Manager. Domestic travel required. Must be experienced and adept at independently managing travel plans and logistics. Qualifications Degree in classical guitar performance preferred Experience and participation in classical guitar competitions Music industry, music retail or music education experience a plus Flexible schedule and ability to travel as required Knowledgeable about classical guitar products, music and artists Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize projects and manage timelines with a strong attention to detail Knowledge of Microsoft Office products #LI-Remote
