QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma; substitute certification.
2. Successful experience working with children.
3. Knowledge/experience using technology.
4. Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
5. Ability to interact professionally with staff, students, and the public.
6. Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
7. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal
   resident alien status.

REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION

JOB GOAL: To assist the classroom teacher(s) in meeting the needs of the students either by working with students individually and/or in small groups. To assist student(s) with academic, physical, social/emotional needs, as assigned, in order for student(s) to have access to educational programming and make progress.
SALARY: In accordance with the BRSSA Negotiated Agreement
