MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • To have a minimum secondary school certificate, preferably College graduate

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year experience in the same field.

JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • A high level of organizational skills.
  • A high level of initiative.
  • With at least minimum of 5 IELTS band score.
  • Effective communication skills in relating to both adults and children.
  • An ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing working environment.
  • A sound working knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • An ability to adapt and learn new systems and procedures.
  • Experience in student data programs.
Responsibilities
  • Follow schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching and assessment with integration of various available resources and modes of instruction.
  • Support high expectations for students and implement assigned tasks which challenge students and ensure high levels of interest;
  • Ensure that the National UAE culture, heritage and values are an integral part of the interaction with students .
  • Support students who require differentiated learning or who have other particular individual needs and liaise with the teacher and/or appropriate experts in the area for required support and advice.
  • Assist in the implementation of and supervise extra-curricular activities, and student excursions as requested .
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff.
  • Attend and participate in school-based, external meetings and professional development.
  • Create resources, copying, laminating, cutting etc. and assigned tasks by the teacher AFTER the students leave – two afternoons per week.
  • Support the SLT in creating and maintaining displays in common areas.
  • Support the students during PE, Islamic and Arabic classes.
  • Supervise breaks and other classes in absence of peers as directed by SLT.
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the SLT
