About the Role A Classroom Support Assistant provides practical and educational support to teachers and students to enhance learning outcomes. The role involves assisting with lesson delivery, working with individuals or small groups of students, preparing classroom materials, and helping maintain a positive, inclusive, and organised learning environment. They play a key part in supporting student engagement, reinforcing instructions, and ensuring all learners can participate effectively in classroom activities. This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
