SCHOOL OVERVIEW

The Laurel School is a boutique early learning private school located in North York, ON, dedicated to providing enriched individualized programs for children from Toddler to Grade 4. Our mission is to create a strong foundation for each child’s unique learning journey in a nurturing and supportive environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma related to education (or currently in school related to education)
• Certified in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C)
• Have a clear police reference check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Minimum 1 years experience within a teaching classroom setting

We are seeking a staff member to float and support with assisting in our JK to Grade 3 classrooms, cover staff lunch breaks, teaching when a core teacher is away, leading our after-school program and closing the school. Your contributions will support our mission of fostering academic excellence and individual achievement in a nurturing environment.
Fixed term contract from September 2025 to June 2026 (with the opportunity for renewal for future school years as well as opportunities for positions in the summer)
