We are a vibrant learning community where curiosity, inquiry and excellence are valued, and where students are encouraged to become confident, capable and compassionate learners.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher to join our Junior School in a part-time (0.6 FTE) role. This position provides release time for Junior School Team Leaders through the teaching of classes across a range of year levels.

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who enjoys variety, values collaboration and is passionate about delivering engaging learning experiences that inspire students to reach their potential.

About the Role

Working across multiple Junior School year levels, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs that support student engagement and achievement.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders, classroom teachers and specialist staff to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Plan, assess and report on student progress in line with School expectations.
  • Foster inclusive and positive learning environments that support student wellbeing.
  • Contribute to inquiry-based learning and transdisciplinary teaching practices within the PYP framework.
  • Participate actively in the professional and community life of the School.

About You

You are a flexible and highly organised educator who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building strong relationships with students, colleagues and families.

You will bring:

  • A passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to student-centred practice.
  • Strong classroom teaching experience within a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to adapt confidently across a range of year levels and learning contexts.
  • A commitment to continuous professional growth and reflective practice.
  • Alignment with and support for the Christian values and ethos of the School.

Essential Requirements

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and eligibility to teach in NSW.
  • Current NESA accreditation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NESA NSW syllabuses and the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Experience planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality learning programs.
  • Strong understanding of differentiation, assessment for learning and contemporary teaching practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team.
