Sandwich Montessori School is growing and we are seeking our next high caliber Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Each role in our school plays a vital part in supporting our student and caregivers. As an Assistant Teacher, you will be supported by Montessori trained Lead Guides, and you will learn a great deal as you develop as an educator. You will work hand-in-hand with teachers to support the goals and objectives of lessons they provide, you will support classroom management by working on-on-one with students, and supporting the curriculum in all ways with a high focus on literacy development.
Montessori experience is a plus, and if you are not trained, you will be expected to happily gain insight about Montessori as part of your professional development plan and love of learning. EEC certification will also need to be gained if you do not have it. The team at Sandwich Montessori values individual professional growth and development, and will guide you through the process and support you as you learn and grow.
