STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Clean Room Operator to join the team. This position is responsible for the daily operation of the clean room. Requirements Essential Duties & Responsibilities Performs cleaning of final assemblies using alkaline cleaner. Performs cleanliness testing using solvent. Dries final assemblies using nitrogen and vacuum oven. Performs microscope and other forms of inspection. Packages final assemblies to preserve cleanliness. Records and maintains documentation of test results and data into computer system. Verifies and maintains accuracy of routers and other applicable documents for completeness. Follows all required safety and OSHA rules and regulation including the use of PPE. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the daily operation of the clean room, which includes performing cleaning of final assemblies using alkaline cleaner and conducting cleanliness testing using solvent. The operator will also dry final assemblies, perform inspections, and package items to preserve cleanliness.
