Description Description Job Type Full-time Morton, WA • Maintenance Description The purpose of the clean-up position is to maintain a clean and safe environment. This position may work a varying schedule, with 10-hour shifts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sweeps and shovels sawdust in the mill Chases plugs ups. Blows down machinery. Cleans bathroom and break room Operate PIT to aid in clean up Fire watch Other duties as assigned Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High School Diploma or GED One year clean up experience preferred Industrial/Manufacturing experience a plus Comfortable working in varying weather, both indoors and outdoors. Effective communication skills through written and verbal forms Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather); extreme heat (non-weather) and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. Responsibilities
