Omachron Science is a small family-owned company located in Ontario, Canada doing research and development company for the past 40 plus years.
We are looking to hire a full-time person who will split their time between facility cleaning and technician work. We are seeking someone that is diligent, easygoing, trustworthy, friendly, dependable, and preferably has previous office cleaning and/or janitorial experience. The desired candidate will also fulfill duties related to agricultural research experiments, with tasks ranging from maintaining of small, indoor, experimental greenhouses to assisting in year-round, wider-scale agricultural projects.
The potential candidate will have an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic technical team to develop new technologies. Training will be provided on the job.
The successful candidate will be required to conduct work primarily in Bobcaygeon, however may be required in Pontypool and Hampton, Ontario periodically. Work schedule is 0700 to 1600hrs, with the possibility of some evening, weekends, and holiday work.

• Daily janitorial and maintenance duties to ensure our site meets and exceeds all cleanliness and safety standards. This includes shared spaces, laboratories, and outdoor areas. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Mopping floors,
• Vacuuming
• Cleaning kitchens
• Cleaning restrooms
• Disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as door handles
• Laundry
• Emptying waste containers
• Other general cleaning tasks
• Daily technician work as assigned by a supervisor. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Ability to perform gardening duties such as weeding, trimming, pruning, and harvesting of plants
• Ability to observe, record, and document ongoing experiments
