Overview:
The Cleaner / RV Detailer performs general detailing and cleaning activities for new and used recreational vehicles in order to improve and/or maintain their appearance prior to customer delivery, in addition to other cleaning and housekeeping duties for the dealership.
Compensation: $18 - $21/hr., based on experience + 4% vacation pay
Reports to: General Manager

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service.
  • Clean the interior and exterior of new and used customer units prior to customer pick up.
  • Light housekeeping duties to keep the facility clean and in good working order as needed.
  • Clean company vehicles as needed.
  • Assist the shop personnel as needed.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude who enjoys dealing with the public, and who are not afraid to get their hands dirty.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Passion for cleaning and able to take initiative.
  • An eye for the details.
  • Consider the safety of others in situations where there is a risk of harm.
  • Communicate with co-workers and customers.
  • Follow company rules and procedures for collecting and scanning tickets.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping and vacuuming.
  • Previous detail experience & RV knowledge would be considered assets.
  • Experience operating a forklift or other heavy machinery will be considered an asset.
