JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous custodial experience or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility occupants.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, tools, and techniques.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various cleaning tasks as required.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned according to established standards, including restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
