Description:
Cleaner
The Cleaner is generally responsible for customer service to patrons and maintaining the cleanliness of facilities, building common areas and exterior areas and responding to daily cleaning requirements and service requests based on end user traffic patterns through the building space.
Responsibilities:
Daily
- Sweep and pick around all light poles, planters, curbs, parking areas in front of tenant buildings
- Empty and wipe down garbage all garbage cans in common areas, use stainless steel cleaner for the exterior of the cans
- Node cleaning duties: mop stairs, mop inside elevator, wipe interior and exterior stainless steel with stainless steel cleaner, mop landing, dusting in Node, all edges around and above stairs and escalator
- Sweep service hallways, wipe all entry / exit door and walls of hallways, loading bays & garbage room as well as any baseboard heaters
- Clean and maintain all white planters
- Clean escalator glass, handrails and all stainless steel
- Clean escalator with escalator cleaning solution and foam pad
- Stairwells entering /exiting lower parkade and upper parkade
- Sweep, mop, out all sprinkler, boiler room, elevator machine room located on Mezz level
- Clean and maintain all interior / exterior walls and lower ledges
- Respond to tenant request as per administration office
- Clean and wipe down interior / exterior benches and soft seating in common area
- Check Washrooms for cleanliness and supplies: soap, toilet paper, other consumables
- Operate and maintain autoscrubbers
- Blow and collect leaves
- Pressure Washing entrances, underground and perimeters
Weekly
- High dust any vents and signage accessible with a telescopic duster on a weekly basis
- Clean water to be poured down floor drains to alleviate smells, weekly
Monthly
- Dust and wipe baseboards, trims and any and all ledges on a regular rotational basis (bi-monthly)
- All entrance mats (seasonal) shall be lifted monthly, the floor underneath swept and mopped and then properly repositioned. Remove any stains or gum
Other duties assigned by the Site Supervisor and/or Site Manager
