    We are looking for dedicated Cleaners / Food Services Assistants to join our Residential Care team at Philip Kennedy Centre & Mount Carmel.

Responsibilities

You will be required to work as part of a cohesive team by undertaking either general cleaning and/or catering duties for the provision of high quality catering and housekeeping services, which is vital to the health and well-being of our residents, visitors and staff.

Daily duties in these roles include but are not limited to;

  • dusting and polishing of furniture
  • mopping, sweeping and vacuuming of floors, removal of rubbish
  • cleaning bathrooms and toilets
  • Listening with empathy to residents and their representatives about cleaningrequests and reporting to the Supervisor any requests that cannot be immediately actioned
  • assisting in the preparation, cooking, distribution and serving of all types of meals principally for residents but also for visitors, staff and for functions
  • observing food safety, HACCP, quality and hygiene standards as well as adhering to SCC policies and procedures
  • maintaining accurate relevant catering records including the monitoringand recording of food temperatures
  • reporting any feedback from residents’ on their satisfaction or otherwisefor meals provided
