To ensure we continue to provide a superior level of service and care to our elderly, we are seeking self-motivated and experienced Cleaners to join our team on a Casual or Permanent Part-Time basis. Opportunities are available across our Victorian residential facilities in Clayton and Templestowe, as well as our facility in Mayfield (Newcastle).
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment through the day-to-day cleaning of all areas within our residential premises.

REQUIREMENTS

To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria, but not limited to:

• Previous experience in cleaning or similar role preferably in Aged Care settings.
• Ability to organise workload according to priorities.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Understanding of elderly people’s needs and limitations.
• Good communication skills.
• Preparedness to work to levels of excellence and quality.
• Current police clearance.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Cleaning all areas in the facility as specified on cleaning schedules
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used according to instructions and always clean and fully functional
• Reporting any dysfunctional equipment as soon as possible
• Reporting of any hazards when identified
• Undertake stock control by monitoring quality of chemicals and report any problems
