JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented house keeper to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in both our pub areas and guest rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment for all. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Here at The Sea Trout, we are a cosy country pub with 11 bedrooms and looking for a house keeper with high standards and attention to detail.

SKILLS

• Previous house keeping experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in hotel cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is an advantage
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

  Pay: £12.21-£13.58 per hour
  Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in the main pub, restaurant areas.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms and communal areas
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
• Clean and turn over our guest rooms ready for a 3pm check in.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from clients
• Laundry stock control.
• Ensure all rooms re cleaned to standard including hall ways and corridors.
