WHAT YOU WILL BRING (SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE)

  • Previous cleaning experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning schedules.
  • Able to carry out manual handling and happy to work in cold/wet environments (due to the external work)
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to work night shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Carry out thorough cleaning of production areas, machinery, and equipment in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Carry out thorough cleaning of warehouse areas and external areas of factory.
  • Perform cleaning tasks to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, including deep cleans.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following company and legal guidelines (COSHH).
  • Ensure all cleaning is completed to audit-ready standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards immediately.
  • Safely dispose of waste and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
  • Complete cleaning records and checklists accurately.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure handover between shifts is smooth and effective.
  • Comply with all health & safety, food safety, and company policies at all times.
