Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming throughout the museum.
  • Focus on high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, handrails, and interactive displays to reduce the risk of germ transmission.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, ensuring they are well-stocked with soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners, disposing of waste properly.
  • Dust and wipe down exhibits, displays, and artifacts to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.
  • Pay attention to floor care, ensuring floors are free of debris and spills.
  • Clean and sanitize play areas and interactive spaces to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for children.
  • Clean windows and glass surfaces for a clear view.
  • Keep track of lost and found items, ensuring proper storage and prompt return to owners.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate cleaning efforts and maintain a consistent level of cleanliness.
