OVERVIEW

Bar Wellington is a favourite local pub. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our team. You will start your day thoroughly cleaning the restaurants and getting it ready for business. Then you will shift to the kitchen and join the Chef and kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff alike. This role requires a proactive attitude, strong time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We can offer 5 days a week between 2pm until 8pm and sometime later depending on the night and business.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
• Some experience working in a kitchen with some prep, dishwashing, cleaning of equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with Chef annd Restaurant owner annd manager As well as team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed while adhering to safety protocols.

  Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, restaurant dining areas, restrooms, and common spaces like stairs and hallways. Summer patio inclhsing watering flowers.
• It would be helpful if you were able to help with light handy work. repairs, painting and furniture repair. Familiar with hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct commercial cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all cleaning duties are completed within scheduled hours.
• Maintain communication with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and supply needs.
