Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments. This role requires effective communication skills, a customer service-oriented attitude, and the ability to work independently and manage team. Shifts will be Monday to Sunday. This position is for 18 hours per week cover Maternity Leave for 6 to 9 months with a possibility of becoming permanent. There is overtime available covering holidays and sickness. Responsibilities Organise and support cleaning operatives liaise with client to to ensure cleaning needs are met Manage cleaning stock and update line manager of concerns Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained. Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors; clean windows, surfaces, and fixtures. Machine clean shop floor and other areas.. Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and effectively. Communicate with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services provided. Follow established protocols for cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. Requirements Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred but full training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. A proactive attitude with the drive to complete tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on client needs.
