JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in commercial settings in Clitheroe Lancashire. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and clients.
Hours of Work: To be agreed with the right candidate - Monday-Friday preferably 9am - 11am 3 days a week , days negotiable

Duties will include:

  • Vacuum/ sweep/ mop floor areas
  • Clean offices/shops
  • Clean toilets / kitchen area
  • Dust control
  • Remove litter
  • Sanitise all sanitary wear
  • Replenish soap, toilet rolls and hand towel.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning is required.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is an advantage.
  • A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
  • Ensure all surfaces are dusted, mopped, vacuumed, and sanitised as required.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or issues as necessary.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any concerns or observations related to cleanliness or maintenance needs.
