We currently have an opportunity for a Casual cleaner- Must be available Mon- Fri, 11:00-1600. Approximately 20 hours a week Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in providing a range of cleaning service in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: General cleaning duties, including but not limited to: Sweeping, Vacuuming, Dusting, Emptying Bins, Rubbish Removal Cleaning of spillages and liquids/oils Waste disposal duties Driving and control of cleaning machine The role involves manual handling and lifting and may require incumbents to stand for lengthy periods and work in hot or noisy environments. What You’ll Bring Experience in commercial cleaning preferred but no required Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices Knowledge of chemical use, storage and handling Safe Manual Handling practices Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders Team member – works effectively as a member of a team and assist others with completion of duties to ensure all daily tasks are completed on time.
