Position Title: Cleaner
Location: Simpsons Garden Centre - Inverness
Shift Pattern: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Saturday to Tuesday (4 days, 16 hours total)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a meticulous and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Cleaner. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within our premises, including floor cleaning. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and uphold consistently high standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions accurately.
• As this is a physical role, reasonable agility to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, bending, and lifting is required.
• Reliability and punctuality are paramount.

• Perform floor cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming to ensure all designated areas are clean and presentable.
• Execute cleaning duties according to established protocols and schedules, demonstrating attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Work independently without direct supervision, displaying initiative and self-discipline to complete tasks efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure all cleaning requirements are met within the specified timeframes.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed, including covering holidays and accommodating fluctuating business needs.
