SUMMARY OF ROLE
We currently have a vacancy (or two) within our cleaning team. The main aim of this role is to work as part of a close-knit cleaning team to ensure the site is kept to the highest standard of cleanliness throughout.
We are looking for a hard-working individual(s) who is seeking a permanent position within a reputable and supportive company. The business can be fast paced and therefore we are looking for a candidate with stamina and energy. An enthusiastic, friendly, and positive attitude is essential to work within a close-knit team.
We are willing to consider either one candidate (30 hours per week) or two candidates within a job-share agreement (12.5 – 22.5 hours per week). Flexibility to cover other team members holidays is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support the QSHE Administrator in completing all cleaning tasks assigned across the site, including but not limited to areas such as the canteen, lobby, hallways, toilets, offices and laboratory.
· Daily routine tasks include but are not limited to, hoovering, mopping, sanitizing, dusting, emptying bins, disposing of waste correctly, replenishing restroom supplies.
· Reporting any maintenance issues or damage.
· Work independently and both as part of a team.
· Manage daily routine cleaning tasks, along with occasional non-routine tasks.
· Understand chemicals and the safe use for cleaning purposes, ensuring compliance with PPE and H&S.
· Provide holiday cover for other members of the cleaning team.
