Spare us five minutes, and we'll tell you what you need to know…   A bit about the role As a Nursery Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our setting remains clean, safe and hygienic at all times. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the nursery, including playrooms, bathrooms, communal areas and staff areas. Your work will help create a welcoming and healthy environment for children, families and staff. You will take pride in your attention to detail and understand the importance of cleanliness in supporting a safe early years environment. Working as part of a friendly team, you will help ensure the nursery is always ready for children to learn and play in a clean and well-maintained space. What you’ll be doing     * Undertaking cleaning of designated premises, work and service areas, as detailed in the cleaning schedule ensuring completion within the set timescales. * Maintaining a stock of cleaning supplies necessary to complete tasks and where necessary, alert management to the need to replenish the stock. * Being responsible for the safe use and storage of cleaning materials, in line with Health & Safety at Work Regulations and Action for Children policies.
