We are looking for a CLEANER / STEWARD Female, to join our luxury kids’ salon, Little Scissors Kids Salon, located in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner/Steward to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our salon. This role is vital in ensuring that our young clients and their families enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (salon/spa/restaurant experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physically fit to perform cleaning tasks (lifting, bending, standing).

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years of cleaning/housekeeping experience.

• Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming salon floors and surfaces.
• Disinfect salon chairs, hair wash stations, and kids’ play/reading areas regularly.
• Ensure all toys, books, and kids’ activity areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to salon procedures.
• Clean mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces for a sparkling appearance.
• Ensure towels, capes, and salon linens are properly laundered and neatly organized.
• Monitor cleaning supplies, refill stock, and notify management when reordering is required.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a child-friendly environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or repair needs to the management.
