We are seeking a Cleaner to join our team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at our facilities. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for all occupants.
This Position would be 1600Hrs To 1900Hrs
To ensure the centre is maintained and presented as a clean and safe environment for visitors, customers and other employees. As the responsive cleaner, the Ambassador should ensure that the centre is presented in such a way that all rubbish is removed regularly, and that any food or liquid spillages are attended to and cleaned, as soon as possible.

Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
• Sanitize and disinfect surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs
• Empty bins and dispose of waste following proper procedures
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

  Experience

• Proficient in English to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

• Ability to drive is desirable for transportation to different work locations
• Prior experience in customer service is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and address cleaning requirements efficiently
  · To work the hours and shifts in accordance with conditions of employment.
  · To comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the centre.
  · To carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Centre Manager or their delegated deputy.
  · Implement & maintain cleaning/sterilising regimes as part of centre’s COVID-19 strategy.
  · Regular cleaning of the outdoor mall areas to include shopfronts as required.
  · Refuse collection from waste bins and cleaning of mall bins.
  · Compacting of bulk waste, segregation of waste for recycling and baling of plastic and cardboard.
  · Reporting and removal of all food and liquid spillages, in accordance with the centre’s spillage procedure.
  · Cleaning of public toilets in accordance with the Centre’s cleaning and check procedure.
  · Chewing gum removal.
  · Removal of weeds and litter from around centre.
  · Cleaning of all internal and external low level glass as required.
  · Internal Office & Conference Room cleaning
  · Cleaning of staff areas including toilets and kitchen areas
  · Assisting with set-up & removal of promotional activities
  · Dust control mopping.
  · Removal of cobwebs both at high level and low level
  · Removal of dust and debris by suction cleaning.
  · Machine sweeping of Car Park & Loading areas.
  · Machine scrubbing of tiled areas.
  · Be aware of site specific duties.
  · undertake any training required to fulfil this role.
  · To ensure that the Rules & Regulations of the Centre are complied with at all times.
  · To be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company.
  · To ensure that the requirements of the Fire regulations are strictly complied with.
  · Liaise with Emergency services as and when required.
  · Ensure that all defects are reported and recorded in accordance with the defect policy.
  · Ensure that the Centre is a safe and pleasant environment.
  · To assist with enquiries from the public if so required.
  · To cover any shift/duty as may be required

  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: £12.21 per hour
