About the Role: Would you like to play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-standard cleaning services at Canberra Health Services? The Environmental Cleaning Services team is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services across Canberra Hospital and community-based facilities. The service is essential to the effective operation of the health service by ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming environments that support clinical operations and contribute to a positive experience for everyone who uses our facilities. As a Cleaning Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high‑quality cleaning services that maintain clean, hygienic, and safe environments across CHS facilities. Working in line with CHS procedures and processes, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations, monitor service performance, and support continuous improvement. The role is responsible for tracking and reporting on operational performance while ensuring consistent compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) obligations and infection prevention and control requirements. Out of hours on‑call arrangements apply as part of this role. The successful candidate will demonstrate management skills with a strong ability to lead by example, has highly developed communication skills including negotiation and liaison skills, understands Work Health and Safety requirements, and understands and applies the principles of patient confidentiality and privacy.
