ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. * Fly In Fly Out - Brisbane * 9 days on, 5 days off, 10 hours per day * Full time permanent salary of $95,000 The Position: As a Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for daily operations, supervision of 5-20 Cleaners, reporting to upper-level management and cleaning of communal buildings and facilities. * Cleaning of communal buildings and facilities on site including but not limited to offices, training rooms, crib huts, washrooms, locker rooms and bath houses * Waste removal, power washing pathways and light grounds work * Ability to work in a physically demanding and active role, working 10 hour days on your feet * Training of new employees * Lead your team by example * Conduct effective prestart meetings * Manage performance issues * Demonstrate and reinforce safe behaviors, effectively investigating and reporting all hazards/incidents and injuries * Prepare and submit performance reports and field leadership as and when required The Person: * Previous supervisory experience in cleaning roles (essential) * Exemplary interpersonal and verbal communication skills * Intermediate systems knowledge (essential) * Neat, tidy and professional in appearance * Be conditioned to the extreme weather in Central QLD * Previous remote experience preferred The Benefits: You will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
