Cleaning Manager (High-End Client Account)
Position: Cleaning Manager
Reports to: CEO / Operations Director
Location: Kelso
Hours: Up to 30 permanent (flexibility required)
Salary: Starting at £23,000
About the Role
We are looking for a highly professional Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations for one prestigious, high-end client. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional standards are consistently delivered, acting as the main point of contact between our team and the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all cleaning operations on-site for the client.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a small team of cleaners to deliver luxury service standards.
  • Conduct daily checks and weekly audits to ensure exceptional quality at all times.
  • Liaise directly with the client to understand requirements, respond to requests, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage staff schedules, attendance, and training to guarantee consistent coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and company procedures.
  • Handle stock control and ensure all eco-friendly cleaning products and equipment are maintained.
  • Provide hands-on support where needed to maintain service delivery.
  • Report directly to senior management on performance, issues, and improvements.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Experience in managing cleaning teams, preferably within luxury, hospitality, or high-profile environments.
  • Immaculate attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to motivate and support a team.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, eco-friendly products, and health & safety regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence (if travel occasionally required).

Desirable:

  • Background in hotels, hospitality, or private estate cleaning.
  • Training in Health & Safety or cleaning management.
