THE JOB PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ is seeking a Venue Cleaning Manager (Seasonal/Part-Time) to oversee all venue cleaning operations and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Cleaning Manager is responsible for managing all cleaning activity before, during, and after concerts and events. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage staff, maintain inventory, and uphold high cleanliness standards throughout the event (before, during and after). This is a part-time, seasonal, event-based position (approximately late March through early October). Availability on event days is required. Work hours are based on the concert and event schedule and will include evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, with shifts beginning before gates open and continuing through post-event cleanup. Work is primarily outdoors. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Assign cleaning tasks and monitor staff performance to maintain quality standards Coordinate cleaning operations before, during, and after events, especially during peak usage times Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment Communicate with department managers and event staff to ensure cleaning needs are met Conduct regular quality inspections and address sanitation concerns promptly Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and inspections Perform other duties as assigned WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Prior experience in cleaning management, janitorial services, or venue operations preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and team-building skills Excellent attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, event-driven environment Physically able to walk extensively, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise cleaning staff, providing coaching and performance feedback Quality Control: Conduct pre-event inspections to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards Equipment & Supplies: Manage inventory and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed Event Support: Partner with operations staff to support guest experience, post-event cleanup, and sustainability efforts Budget Awareness: Track cleaning expenses and support operating cost goals Venue Closing Duties: Assist with end-of-show cleanup, recycling, and equipment storage EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Live Nation Entertainment is committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity.
