The Cover Cleaning Operative must be flexible to meet our requirements with reasonable notice for holiday and sickness cover.
We understand that 18 hours per week is not enough income for most people to financially survive. However, at BH2 this must be your primary role and if we need you to cover at reasonable short notice, then we expect you to fulfil that requirement.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

ABM is looking for hardworking and proactive cleaning cover Operative to join our team in Bournemouth area.
Your duties will involve cleaning of Front of House areas and Back of House area’s and includes hoovering, using a Scrubber Dyer to clean front and back of house, mopping, wiping, kitchen area, toilet cleaning and ensuring outside area is free from litter and maintained to a high standard.
You will empty waste and You will also be using a Baler and Compactor back of house.
You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning.
You will be responsible for disinfecting areas as per planner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting all surfaces.
  • Scrubbing kitchen and toilets and offices.
  • Hoovering and mopping floors and using Floor Scrubber Dryer indoor and outdoor.
  • Disinfecting all high touch points and ensuring outside is free from Litter.
  • Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures etc.
  • Following group and company policies and procedures.
  • Back of House and Front of House management of areas.
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
