LOCATION: Belfast, Queen's Island, Belfast BT3 9EU. SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week PAY RATE: £12.71 per hour ABM UK is a leader in providing innovative facility management and cleaning services across the country. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, reliable, and environmentally conscious cleaning solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client. We are currently seeking diligent and motivated Cleaning Operatives to join our growing team. Role Overview: As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to the highest standards in a variety of client locations. Your role is vital in ensuring safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environments. Key Responsibilities: Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas, restocking consumables as necessary. Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycle materials where appropriate. Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damages or supply needs. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times. Communicate effectively with the site management and team members. Previous cleaning experience desirable but not mandatory; comprehensive training provided. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail and time management skills. Willingness to work flexible hours including possible early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Reliable, trustworthy, and motivated with a strong work ethic. Basic understanding of hygiene and cleaning chemicals is an advantage.
