Overview of position:
The hygienist is responsible for daily scheduled cleaning and any requirements that may arise throughout the shift E.G. spillages. Some lifting will be involved. You will also be required to meet the KPI’S within the hygienist role and adhere to all health and safety regulations and requirements when on site. Each year you will be given 33days holiday (pro rata during the first year) and a competitive salary. Training will be provided for all aspects of the role. Working pattern, Monday to Friday 16:00pm - 01:00am.
Main Duties:
Using the recycling balers for in house generated waste and the waste from our customer depots. Deep cleaning of aisles. Collecting waste that is generated by the operation to keep the warehouse clean and tidy throughout the shift. Daily cleaning of the toilets and canteen including mopping. Emptying bins. Dealing with spillages as they happen including broken glass. Ensuring the waste is correctly disposed of in its designated container. Adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety.
