SHIFT PATTERN: 20 HOURS, 2 OUT OF 7 DAYS, 21:00HRS TO 07:00HRS

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cleaning Operative to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors to the Shopping Centre. You will play a key role in delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer service, contributing to the overall visitor experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate and read basic English (for training and health & safety instructions).
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided.
  • Comfortable using or learning basic digital tools (e.g., handheld devices for task logging or training).
  • A positive, self-motivated, and professional approach to work.
  • Flexibility with working hours and duties, including weekends if required.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards at all times.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
  • Follow Health & Safety procedures and guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Complete all required training to perform your role effectively and safely.
  • Work collaboratively within a team, while also taking initiative to complete tasks independently.
  • Provide a helpful and courteous presence, assisting visitors when needed to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Use handheld devices or digital systems, where required, for logging tasks, reporting issues, or completing training modules.
