JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Site Cleaning Supervisor to join one of our school settings. The Site Cleaning Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the school premises. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to ensuring a conducive environment for children, staff, and visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in maintenance or related field is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and operating cleaning equipment.

• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.
• You must have legal right to work in the UK.

• To ensure that the daily cleaning of all areas is undertaken to a satisfactory standard by regular recorded inspection and monitoring.
• To ensure the company Health & Safety guidelines are implemented and adhered to at all times.
• To ensure on site equipment and machinery is kept in a clean and safe condition reporting any faults immediately to your line manager.
• To undertake administrative duties including the completion of log sheets and the ordering of materials and equipment.
• To assist your line manager in the training of cleaning operatives.
• To ensure all cleaning store rooms and sluice areas are kept clean and safe.
• To organise staff in instances of absences to cover all areas of the school.
• To liaise with the site management on all matters relating to cleaning.
• To deal with minor issues, then reporting any escalation of the issue to your line manager.
