Salary £24796 - £25185 per annum | 37 hours per week | Permanent, Full time | Facilities Management | Preston About the Role: The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are looking to recruit a Cleaning Stores Officer who is required to carry out deliveries and collection of materials to and from Lancashire County Council sites. The closing date for this advert is Friday 13th March and interviews will be taking place week commencing 23rd March 2026. Main Duties Include: * Ensuring the prompt and safe delivery of orders to Lancashire County Council Buildings * Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and checked for damages and quantity in line with inventory processes * Organising the stores room, making sure this is tidy and safe. * Pick up and drop delivery of faulty and repaired equipment. * Ensuring that a high level of customer service is provided at all times. * Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate * To ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials onto vehicles and assisting colleagues in this task when necessary. * All materials must be secure on the vehicles to enable safe transportation and to avoid any loss or damage. * Drivers should have a good knowledge of the LCC geographical area and the roads within the county. Full UK Driving Licence You will be provided a van for the duties of this post, it is essential that you have a Full UK Driving Licence with a Cat B sufficient specification.
