We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to work at a client retail site to manage a cleaning team, including development of staff, maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning, ensuring that Health and Safety standards are adhered to. The site operates seven days per week, and the role will require working alongside another supervisor for full coverage over the course of seven days.
You will be responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning. You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required. You will distribute uniforms, complete daily uniform checks, monitor standard of cleanliness and the use of materials and request order stocks as necessary. You will deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate. You will be required to complete cleaning duties as well.
The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory and cleaning experience. They will have good communication skills, be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and they will be able to work to a schedule on their own initiative
