We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to support our client’s site.
At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • To support the Contracts Manager in all aspects in the delivery of a quality, effective cleaning service to meet contract specification and client expectation within budget

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To ensure cleaning colleagues have access to cleaning supplies, materials and equipment to deliver the required cleaning specification and these are properly used, maintained and stored.
  • To complete cleaning audits, any required action plans and colleague coaching to improve and maintain high standards
  • Ensure compliance at all times with legal requirements such as Health & Safety at Work, accident/incident reporting etc
  • To deliver induction and training and ensure all colleagues are adequately trained to complete their tasks in a safe manner and environment
  • Deal with informal performance and personnel issues consistently, fairly and in line with company policy reporting any ongoing issues to the Contracts Manager and/or HR for advice and next steps
  • To support the recruitment of cleaning colleagues to meet contractual requirements
  • To support the scheduling of colleagues to ensure cleaning is completed to schedule and client expectation
  • To comply with all company policies and processes including record keeping and reporting to fulfil due diligence
  • Engage with colleagues and client stakeholders to promote strong working relationships
  • Maintain positive staff attitudes and team spirit
  • Fulfil any tasks/responsibilities as directed by the Contracts Manager
  • To continuously train and develop your supervisory/managerial skills
  • Complete any training e.g. Health & Safety, company systems and processes as directed by your line manager or senior management.
