QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years of cleaning job experience.
  • At least 2 years of administrative job experience.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 per week

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and coordinating the cleaning and waster team to perform cleaning and waste sorting services to ensure all areas of Riverside are clean and operate effectively.
  • Waste sorting duties, waste sorting training, and ensure waste systems at Riverside run efficiently reach a high standard and meet our sustainability goals.
  • Ensure the duties of the team are carried out to an excellent standard and resources are used efficiently.
  • Maintain the control and use of stock, equipment, and consumables.
  • Purchase of consumables, equipment and materials as required.
  • Actively promote Health and Safety, report breaches to the Operations Manager and develop new H&S plans as required.
  • Liaise with the Operations Manager daily regarding current tasks, faults and problems and assist with the future planning of tasks, maintain an excellent standard of customer service.
  • Monitor and report absenteeism to the Operations Manager.
  • Prepare rosters and leave schedules.
  • Monitor standards and compliance of work performed by contractors as required.
  • Monitor and assist in planning for holiday work requirements (bi/annual cleaning work.)
  • Occasionally carry out cleaning duties where required
