THE OPPORTUNITY

This role is based in Bankstown, NSW, where you’ll be responsible for completing daily cleaning tasks at your assigned site. In addition, you’ll support a small team of cleaners across nearby centres—providing troubleshooting assistance, conducting scheduled site visits for training, and keeping the Cleaning Operations Supervisor informed on service standards and team performance.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Deliver high-standard cleaning services within your assigned centre, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to scope.
• Supervise and support team members, including hands-on training and regular site visits to maintain service quality.
• Monitor team attendance using internal systems and ensure adequate shift coverage, including stepping in when needed.
• Act as the first point of contact for on-site queries, escalating urgent issues to the Cleaning Operations Supervisor.
• Manage cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting faults and maintaining stock levels.
• Follow all City Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

• Previous experience in the cleaning or hospitality industry
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a small team (leadership experience highly regarded)
• Confidence in troubleshooting cleaning equipment (advantageous)
• A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence
• Ownership of a smartphone (essential for using internal systems)
• Have Australian working rights
