Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bidvest Noonan is seeking to hire a Cleaning Team Leader. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that their allocated area and team meets the required specification whilst adhering to defined procedures and health and safety regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A CLEANING TEAM LEADER

  • Lead and supervise a team of Cleaning Operatives, ensuring all policies and procedures are being adhered to on site
  • Deliver excellent cleaning standards with attention to detail and in accordance with instruction and training, whilst keeping health and safety a priority
  • Ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order
  • Report faulty machinery / equipment immediately
  • Ensure yellow safety signs are displayed at all times in areas where work is in progress, in line with Health & Safety
  • Ensure company uniform is kept clean, tidy and is worn at all times whilst at work. Relevant PPE must be worn at all times
  • Report all accidents and dangerous occurrences to your Line Manager
  • Build strong relationships with the Cleaning Operative Team and the client
  • Other duties as agreed and assigned by Management
