As a Clerical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, and maintaining organized records. You will act as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and support as they navigate their mental health journey. Responsibilities Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record systems. Manage appointment scheduling and reminders for both patients and staff. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Assist with the preparation and organization of office documents, materials, and supplies. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations in handling patient information. Support staff with various clerical tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized office environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus. Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Customer service experience is highly valued. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality practices is a plus. Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment. None except State mandated sick time.
