CLERICAL OFFICER GRADE III

Full Time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Bon Secours Hospital Cork is delighted to announce an opportunity for a Clerical Grade Officer Grade III to provide administrative support to our Laboratory.
Applications are invited for this post from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.

The successful candidate will form an integral part of the Administration team and will possess:

• A relevant Business/Administration and or IT qualification and have achieved a high level of proficiency in same
• Excellent Microsoft skills; ECDL is desirable
• Ability to invoice, receipt and reconcile cash as required
• Proven typing & dictation experience plus data entry.
• A knowledge of PIMS is desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills and have the ability to work on his/her own initiative and have a proactive “can do” approach
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organised
• Fluency in English both spoken and written is a pre-requisite for this role
• Some experience with scheduling appointments will be highly regarded
