Responsibilities
Submit private insurance claims to LAYA Healthcare weekly while adhering to deadlines to maximize revenue for the hospital. This involves processing all claims and submitting after QA checks.
Patient and account enquires on an ongoing basis in all communication methods.
Dealing with third party companies regarding patient bills and claims.
Liaison with the Patient Accounts Manager on weekly submission targets and any concerns arising.
Debt Collection: Generating & monitoring if debt collection with external agency. Replying to all correspondence.
Reviewing LAYA pended claims, follow up with relevant consultants & billing agents.
Analysis of LAYA rejected claims & appealing same.
Dealing with self-payer claims and following up of same.
